Granular Fertilizer

Applying Fertilizer throughout the year is a vital step to maintaining a thick lush lawn. Fertilizer has three main components: The first number (nitrogen) promotes dark green color and growth. The second number (phosphate) aids in seed development,  while the third number (potash) helps with root development.

Starter Fertilizer

Crabgrass Preemergent

Crabgrass Preemergent

Starter fertilizer always needs to be applied at the time of new grass seeding. These products help the seedlings roots develop by providing them with much needed nutrients. All of our starter fertilizers are specially blended by our staff allowing for low cost, competitive pricing. Let us help you with your next seed and fertilizer project.

Crabgrass Preemergent

Crabgrass Preemergent

Crabgrass Preemergent

Crabgrass is an annual bunch grass that if not taken care of can take over your entire yard. It is first seen during summer, but the best time to take care of it is mid-spring. Applying fertilizer with a crabgrass premergent will help reduce crabgrass germination.

**Liquid Herbicides can be applied late summer for postemergent crabgrass**

Weed & Feed

Crabgrass Preemergent

Established Yards

Broadleaf weeds start appearing in late April and into May. The best time to apply a granular weed is early morning while there is still dew on the grass so the product sticks to the plant.

**Liquid Herbicides are also available**

Established Yards

Organic Fertilizers

Established Yards

Existing lawns need fertilizer to continue to produce healthy plant development and growth. Failure to maintain proper nutrients in the soil may cause lawn to appear yellow, slow growing, and allow weeds to invade what once was a thick, beautiful lawn. Our experts can help your yard become the envy of the neighborhood.

Applying pelletized Lime is an important application that helps neutralize your soil acidity. If you have a dog leaving yellow spots in the yard it is best to apply pelletized lime.

Gypsum is a 100% organic product that conditions the soil allowing nutrients to get to the roots. It also can reduce the risk of disease by neutralizing the magnesium in the soil.

Turf and ornamental pesticides

Finding the right product can be confusing with so many conventional pesticides on the market. Herbicides, Insecticides, Fungicides where do you start?  Let our experts help you find the right "-cide" for your problem.

Grub Control

Turf Herbicides

Grub Control

Often during the month of August, you may notice your lawn turning brown starting with small irregular spots then getting larger. This is most likely caused by grubs and you can tell by peeling back the dead brown spots and look for little white grubs about 1/4" long. We offer granular insecticides that can provide control on contact. By adding a granular insecticide into your normal maintenance program earlier in the season you may be able to prevent grub damage all together.

Mole Control

Turf Herbicides

Grub Control

Moles can be pesky and leave tunnels of destruction along their way. Applying a granular insecticide for grubs often helps reduce the food source in your yard. We also offer a variety of Mole deterrents and poisons. Deterrent products are available in both liquid and granular form.

Turf Herbicides

Vegetation Management

Broadleaf weeds such as Dandelions, Clover and Creeping Charlie can be tough to eliminate. Liquid herbicides are the most effective when treating broadleaf weeds. The ideal time to apply this product is when the plant is still green, after the dew has left, on a calm day with no rain in the forecast. Granular products are available, but are far less effective. The best time to apply granular products is early morning while the dew is on the grass so the product sticks to the plant.

Vegetation Management

Fungicides & Insecticides
